Another Change in J's World

Hello Big Boy Bed!

Yesterday was our first nap and night in the bed and it went well. I am starting slowly and staying in the room with him to get him to stay in it. We do our normal night-night routine and for the next day or two I am sitting next to him on the floor. Not talking unless its "No its time for night-night" and putting him back in bed. I am hoping that by Wednesday I can put him in bed and then be able to sit in the rocking chair across the room. Then by next weekend I can just leave the room all together. You know me...the planner! We'll take baby steps, but those are my hopes=) 

I can't believe that Jackson is already ready for a toddler bed. Where in the world does the time go???

I Swear...

Its going to be the summer of frogs this year and Jackson is loving every minute of it!

A Day At The Ballpark

Aaron had a field-day type day at work today. You know those guys work so hard that they have to have a day "off" every now and then. Today was the day to sit back, relax...and play some baseball! It was hot-hot-hot out there, but J and I decided that we would come and support Daddy!

 Jackson did pretty well watching from the sidelines, but it didn't last long. He was then making every attempt to run out onto the field. He even tried pushing his truck under the fence so he could go get them. Lol, the kid is a genius I tell you! After the horrible news of not being able to go play with the "big kids" finally sunk in, his heart was broken! Don't worry it wasn't broken for long. He soon found a hose and a drinking fountain to play with=) The world soon became right again in Mr J's World!
