Trunk or Treating
Tonight was Trunk or Treating for Aaron's unit. The entire 5th Group Special Forces and their families were invited to bring their little ones dressed up as princesses and monsters to their DFAC to get some goodies. The warm front is officially over and it was freezing cold outside so they had it indoors. The kids made a line and went from table to table. I have to admit, the kids made a haul!! We met up with my friend Rhiannon and her little girls and decided to make a night of it. We made sure to get there early and are thankful that we did. By the time we were done and grabbed some food the line was outside and wrapping around the building. Tons of fun and plenty of sugar to go around!

Warm Day with Bugs
The sun was out so we pulled the shorts and tank on and went outside! To our surprise there were a lot of bugs in the yard. We had a blast chasing grasshoppers, crickets, and caterpillars all over the front yard. Jackson was all boy wanting to touch them and make them move. I love days like this!

Halloween is Almost Here!
We decided to get ourselves in the spirit of Halloween so we put up some decorations and bake some cookies!
The cookies started out nice and pretty, but ended up looking like clouds of sugary awesomeness!

The Color Run
Today was the Color Run in Nashville and I have to admit it was one of the best moments in my life "exercising". Its a 5k run and is deemed the Happiest 5k on the Planet=) The race definitely lived up to the hype!! You come the day of the race dressed in as much white as possible and proceed to to tie-dye yourself at each kilometer of the race with a different color. We raced through downtown Nashville and around Titans Stadium. There is no rush to the race, as it is not timed and more focused on having fun=) With me being me I timed myself to see how I would do and I managed to finish in 26 minutes *woop woop* Here is a picture of our journey from white to CRAZY!!!

Family Photos...Gangnam Style
We had family pictures with Pictured Moments By April tonight and this is our preview for the session=) Jackson showed April ALL of his best dance moves and introduced Gangnam Style to her. It was too funny! We had a blast and the location was beautiful!!!! Can't wait to see the final photos!

Let's Celebrate
With Aaron coming home so close to Jackson's 2nd Birthday we decided to wait a week before having everyone over to celebrate with us! We put the word out and I got busy in the kitchen. The week of his party I was busy (with the help of the Furman Ladies) making and baking goodies and more pulled pork then I even knew existed! We had a wonderful turn out and our little man was spoiled as always. So blessed to have such an amazing little boy in my life and friends who love him just as much as we do!!
