The past couple of days I have been helping out a good friend of mine with one of her youngest boys. She has a set of twins (I've mentioned them before) named Malachi and Declan. Well, they both came down with RSV over the weekend and were in the hospital's PICU. Mr Malachi got better while Declan got worse. They ended up keeping him overnight on oxygen for a couple nights.
It was a horrible situation for any parent to find themselves in, let alone a parent with 4 other kids to worry about! Me being the person I am made sure to let Nora and Steven know that I was there for them in any way I could help! Well they took advantage of my offer and called me up to watch Mr M during the day and the other kids when they got home from school. Easy enough right?! Jackson loves Malachi and they had a blast playing cars together. Nap time and eating was a different story. I swear these boys were out to sabotage each other. When one would want to eat the other would want to snuggle and full attention and then when one would be asleep the other decided that it was time to shriek and growl (yes that would be Mr M). They were too funny and had me laughing...exhausted...but laughing the entire time! I know that someday I would love to have two kids, but for now I am good with just a Jackson!
