...and what better way to spend it than with my very own soldier! Aaron was able to get his pass approved yesterday afternoon to drive home for the long weekend. After class (BNOC?), he and his classmates went to do their community service project at the Boys and Girls Club of Augusta. As soon as he was done he was on the road around 6pm. Instead of waking up early, he decided to drive all the way through the night to be able to have the day with us. Aaron pulled in around 1am and immediately headed to bed. We were up around 7, thanks to the wonderful alarm clock that is Jackson=) After a quick breakfast for Jackson and showers for the rest of us, we were ready to head out to my weekly coffee with friends. Coffee was fun and the Caramel Steamer I had was delicious as always! I think actually going to the coffee house really gave Mom an idea of my daily routine throughout the week.
Jackson some how managed to nap at Mugsy's so we decided to drive down to the River Walk here in Clarksville. Compared to San Antonio its nothing, but it is a beautiful walkway along the river. Jess and Kaison decided to tag along on our adventures. The boys had us cracking up laughing with how busy they were. Whether it was chasing leaves, or yelling to go play in the water, they were Both definitely on one today=)
By the time we were done outside we decided to grab some lunch at Wendy's. We thought it would be nap time for the boys after lunch, but we were wrong! The boys were ready to run...again!! So we walked over the playground nearby and let them run around, attempt to climb UP slides, and eat some wood chips;) About an hour later we were ALL tired so we decided to head home!!
It doesn't seem like we did a lot, but today was a busy, fun-filled day! I wouldn't of changed it for the world!!!!!
(OOH, and its 11-11-11....did you make a wish or buy a lottery ticket?)
