The other night we went down to the Riverwalk (nothing close to the one in San Antonio) to see the Christmas lights. It was definitely a chilly night, but the lights were beautiful. I don't know why, but we hadn't been down there in the years past for one reason or another. Seeing how this could be our last Christmas here we just had to see it! Jackson was memorized by all of the lights. We pointed and talked to as many of them as he could=)
(These pictures really don't do the walk justice. I promise I will post more when we go back down with the family for Christmas.)
This is a very family friendly "event" and different nights they have different activities for the kids. Santa is there some times and they decorate ornaments, cookies, cards, etc. Its pretty amazing. Its also a nice way to warm up when you are chilled to the bone. The night we were there the activity was decorating cookies. I know Jackson can't do a whole lot, but it was a chance to warm up and get some food (yes, sugar is food!) in his belly. The following pictures document the process=)
