Christmas Parade

We decided to kick off the Christmas Season by attending the Christmas Parade in Clarksville. We bundled up and made sure we went down to get our spots early.
We were amped and ready to go. Growing up and watching the Pocatello Christmas Parade grow from 4 "floats" to 50+. I was pretty excited seeing how people are always talking about how great it is. I had pretty high expectations!! We started off the night with some cotton candy=) Jackson wasn't so sure about it. Having something going into his mouth to just disappear blew his mind!
As it started getting dark the lights started turning on. Downtown Clarksville looked beautiful and definitely got us in the Christmas mood!

I'm not going to lie, the parade was very disappointing. There were so many Big trucks pulling trailers piled high with kids wearing santa hats it was a bit crazy. There were a couple high school bands that Jackson loved! Its all about the drumline. Being trapped between the buildings the sirens of over half of the Emergency vehicles was ridiculous! Jackson's eyes were SO big as each fire truck, police car, and ambulance passed by! If the entire parade was just those 3 cars he would of died a happy little boy=) It started getting pretty cold by the time the parade ended so we let Jackson warm up with a little hot chocolate. Hey, the kids gotta learn to love the simple things in life...right?
